Talking about sex can be scary or overwhelming for many. In a couples or individual sex therapy session we will explore your goals for therapy, whether it be improved connection, intimacy, pleasure or processing sexual abuse or trauma. There will be no demonstrations or touching in session, this is talk therapy designed to help you feel safer and more connected.

The primary method of therapy that we use is Emotionally Focused Therapy. This is an attachment based method centered around the idea that couples can get into negative cycles or patterns in their relationship. We will work to understand this pattern and explore how it affects you and your partner.
